⌗ The Story
I started behind the camera because I noticed how rarely people are really seen.
I am Olumide, known to most as Dellz. Shotbydellz started as a way to give the people closest to me images that actually matched who they are. A phone snapshot was never going to do that, and I wanted to close that gap. Whether it is a family session on Brandywine, an artist mid-performance, or a founder building a brand worth photographing, the approach is the same: take the time, get the light right, wait for the right frame, and finish with care.
I am based in Newark, Delaware, and available throughout the DMV, Philadelphia, and New York. I travel for the right project.
⌗ The Process
From first inquiry to the final print.

Inquiry & Vision
We start with a conversation, usually by email, where you share what you are looking for and I ask a few questions. Once we agree it is a good fit, we lock in your date and I send over a booking agreement.

Pre-production
Before the day of the shoot, we sort out wardrobe direction, confirm the location, and agree on a rough plan. I want everything settled in advance so that when we meet, we can focus entirely on making good images.

The Session
I keep the atmosphere relaxed and give clear direction when it is needed. There is no rush. Most people find that after the first few frames, it starts to feel natural and the real pictures come through.

The Edit
I go through every frame personally, select the best ones, and edit each image individually. No batch presets are used. The look, tone, and feel of each image are adjusted by hand before anything is delivered.

Delivery
Your edited images are delivered through a private online gallery, usually within two weeks of the shoot. Every file includes a full print release so you can print wherever and whenever you choose.

Cinematic
I think carefully about light, framing, and color on every shoot. The goal is an image that looks considered, not just captured.

Intentional
Before any shoot, we agree on wardrobe, location, and timing. None of those decisions are left to chance on the day.

Heirloom
Every edited file is delivered at full resolution with a print release. These images are made to be printed large and kept for a long time.
